ElementCMS converts a District to a City with the launch of the new City of Pitt Meadows website - April 26, 2007
On the 26th of April 2007, Pitt Meadows became the newest city in British Columbia. Moving on up from their previous status as a District, they were very proud to become The City of Pitt Meadows. To celebrate this great news, they organized a party, a press conference… and a flashy new website!
Selected after an extensive search, Atomic Crayon was chosen to provide a re-design for Pitt Meadows and to implement ElementCMS as the content management system (CMS). Our work for the City included: Reviewing site architecture; Site planning; Functionality analysis; Creation of a new navigation structure. Finally, there was an enterprise-level CMS integration.
The website featured a bright, attractive new design to accompany a wealth of improved functionality. A bevy of online services, a powerful Events calendar, and a dynamic News listing were just a few of their favourite things.
Another Win: ElementCMS Chosen for Maple Ridge - March 14, 2007
Our tradition of strong Municipal work marches on with the release of the brand new website for the District of Maple Ridge powered by ElementCMS. What began eight months ago with a comprehensive Strategic Technical Plan has blossomed into one of our most comprehensive web projects to date.
We started with an expansive review of their previous website, including a thorough analysis of their software and hardware infrastructure. ElementCMS for City was chosen by this client and specialized municipal features now being used by Maple Ridge include an RFPs and Tenders component, a CSS-driven photo gallery, a Community Events calendar, and a fully integrated newsletter capabilities. ElementCMS now allows District employees the power to update the website themselves while maintaining standards and a workflow approval system. Enterra Energy Trust Selects ElementCMS - January 19, 2007
Enterra Energy Trust worked with Muze Creative to design and brand their new website and selected ElementCMS as their content management system. The powerful ElementCMS platform allows Enterra staff to easily add content to the website to keep current and potential investors informed of the company's operations and market performance. As well, the company was able to eliminate any technology infrastructure or staffing costs by choosing the ElementCMS hosted services. Enterra is an energy trust that acquires, operates, and exploits petroleum and natural gas assets principally in the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia, Canada and in the states of Oklahoma and Wyoming, USA.

ElementCMS Chosen for District of Pitt Meadows - October 24, 2006
ElementCMS continues its strong tradition of work with municipalities with its selection by the District of Pitt Meadows. Selected after an extensive search, ElementCMS has been chosen to implement its content management system (CMS) platform in conjunction with the website redesign process the district is going through. A major strength of the ElementCMS offering has once again been our extensive process, practices, and policy consulting services that we provide in tandem with the product itself.
Pitt Meadows is primarily an Agricultural area located in the Lower Fraser Valley east of Vancouver on the north side of the Fraser River at its junction with the Pitt River. The Alouette River and its two arms as well as a number of other sloughs and waterways also bisect it. The Municipality takes its name from the Pitt River and Pitt Lake, which were possibly named after British Prime Minister William Pitt.

District of Maple Ridge Selects ElementCMS resulting from Competitive RFP Process - July 25, 2006
ElementCMS is proud to announce an intense RFP process by the District of Maple Ridge has resulted in the selection of ElementCMScity, a specialized version of ElementCMS's enterprise web content management software. It has been selected to power all internet and intranet sites within Maple Ridge. ElementCMS will also be providing extensive content and process management consulting during this project to ensure its successful rollout. "This is another major win for ElementCMS and shows its superiority to systems offered by other major vendors," said Michael Chu, Chief Financial Officer at Netimage Media. "Organizations are realizing more and more that using options from large vendors often results in over complexity and a lack of service. As well, ElementCMS offers a level of user friendliness that the major vendors have yet to match. Our extensive consulting process around each deployment really eases the adoption of the software within the organization." Revamped Industrial Plastics and Paints Website Now Powered by ElementCMS - June 23, 2006
Industrial Plastics and Paints, a chain of service centers that has been providing plastics and coatings to industry and the public since 1951, has recently completed a revamp of their website. Included in this revamp is the integration and deployment of the site powered by ElementCMS. This major change now allows Industrial Plastics and Paints staff to easily add updates to site content, most particularly its very large online product information section. During the integration process, previously existing web applications written in PHP and MySQL were easily integrated into ElementCMS and deployed without any change to the application code.
