Netimage Media was approached by an international importer, exporter, and wholesale distributor of
beads and craft supplies.

The client's wish was to enter the retail bead business in a way where they would not be competing
directly with the retail stores that they supply.

The Solution
Netimage Media conducted research of the beading and craft industry that the company was in. An
evaluation of their market position as well as their relationship with retail bead and craft stores
revealed a great deal of useful information.
Netimage Media's solution was the development, deployment, and marketing of an online bead and
craft store that would be under a totally different name than that of the wholesale business.
This approach would avoid any competition with the retail outlets that serve those customers who
insist on a store-front shopping experience. Netimage Media's advisory services was able to
provide a clear roadmap that the wholesaler would need to follow in the short and long term in
order to bring their business into the online digital world.
Netimage Media created the Netbeads.com brand-name, logo, image, and identity. Using this
identity, we developed the entire Netbeads.com site from the ground up including the interface
design, database development, search engine, and secure e-commerce capabilities for online
ordering. We also took images of the huge number of products that would be available on the
Netbeads.com site, categorizing and organizing them into a meaningful and logical way for online
shoppers.
In order to simplify website maintenance and changes, Netimage Media incorporated a simplified
content management system that allows for the site's products to be updated in real-time.
